Who you are:
The Manager of Program Operations plays a critical role in supporting regional and center leadership to ensure operational excellence, compliance, and preparedness across all locations. The role focuses on training and onboarding, adherence to organizational policies and procedures, and maintaining smooth communication between teams. Additionally, the position provides oversight on compliance requirements, supports administrative processes, and contributes to the successful implementation of new initiatives. By gathering input for preparedness meetings and monitoring key operational indicators, this role helps drive consistency, safety, and efficiency throughout the organization.
Reporting to the Senior Manager of Program Operations, Global Operations, the MPO will work closely with CDs, RDOs, Executive Regional Director of Operations for Europe, and VPPM in the prioritization and coordination of tasks and deliverables.
What you’ll do:
* Compliance Oversight. Ensure adherence to organizational compliance standards and regulatory requirements across all centers. Responsibilities include monitoring policy implementation, supporting audits, and working with RDOs and Center Directors to promptly address compliance gaps.
* Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Collaborate to review SOPsand,when needed, meet with Center Directors to ensure they understand how to operate per the standard procedures.
* HSS policies and procedures. Work closely with RDOs to ensure center teams comply with CIEE policies and procedures, including incident reporting, emergency communication system testing, and submission of annual reports on Emergency Response, Sexual Assault Guidelines, and other compliance-related requirements.
* Administrative tasks. Ensure on-time and accurate staff completion of deliverables throughout the year, including administrative tasks such as Capex requests, Refund requests, Staff requests, and compliance documentation.
* Review Daily Case Summary report, and alert RDOs if any of the secondary cases need special attention.
* Communication and Coordination. Support RDOs, ERDO, and VPPM in managing the smooth flow of communication between teams, including gathering input for preparedness meetings, and ensuring conscientious management and sharing of information to support highly efficient worldwide operations.
* New initiatives. Support RDOs, ERDO and VPPM to implement and train onsite teams on new initiatives.
* Training and onboarding. Support RDOs to onboard new employees when needed or work with Center Directors as they onboard staff, and follow up with local teams on training needs.
* Other duties as requested
What you’ll bring:
The ideal candidate will possess:
* MA or MS in organizational management, international education, or related degree (preferred); BA or BS in organizational management, international education, or related degree (required)
* 4-5 years in organizational management, international education, or related professional experience (preferred); 1-3 years in organizational management, international education, or related experience (required)
* Excellent written and oral communication skills (required)
* Strong computer skills (required)
* Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and fulfill responsibilities efficiently, accurately, and in a timely manner (required)
* Must be responsible, reliable, efficient, detail and people-oriented, positive, and flexible in a dynamic and changing environment (required)
* Must maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive information (required)
* Must be able to work independently, proactively, and also as part of a team on nonrecurring and ongoing projects (required)
* Fluency in English (required); proficiency in a second language (preferred)
