About the Role:
As an E-Commerce Assistant,
you will report directly to the E-Commerce Manager and play a key role in ensuring the day-to-day operations of our online stores run seamlessly. From creating and optimizing product listings to maintaining a logical and visually appealing website, your work will be pivotal in delivering a first-class shopping experience to our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Product Management:
- Create and manage product listings, ensuring accurate descriptions, high-quality images, and proper tagging.
- Continuously optimize product pages for improved user experience and search visibility.
- Manage product collections and ensure logical categorization for easy navigation.
- Website Merchandising:
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually engaging website layout.
- Assist in implementing upselling and cross-selling strategies.
- Audit the website regularly to ensure all products are correctly placed and promoted.
- Operational Support:
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather all necessary product information (descriptions, specifications, imagery).
- Troubleshoot and resolve website bugs or issues by coordinating with developers or platform support.
- Monitor website analytics to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Customer Engagement:
- Assist with executing promotional campaigns, email marketing, and loyalty programs.
Qualifications:
- Languages: High proficiency in English and Spanish (spoken and written) is required.
- Experience:
- Experience with Shopify is highly preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, or a related field is a plus.
Required Skills:
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Strong written communication skills, with an ability to craft customer-facing content in both English and Spanish.
- Basic understanding of web metrics and analytics.
- Familiarity with tools such as Adobe Photoshop (basic level) and Microsoft Office.
- Basic HTML skills are a bonus but not required.
Preferred Skills:
- Self-starter with a proactive attitude and a willingness to learn.
- A team player who can collaborate effectively across departments.
- Interest in e-commerce, online retail.
