We are seeking a motivated and proactive Marketing and Sales Coordinator to support and implement sales and marketing strategies, with a focus on the hospitality and sports tourism sectors. This role is ideal for a commercially driven professional who enjoys building client relationships and aims to enhance brand visibility and revenue in both domestic and international markets.
Your responsibilities
* Marketing : Plan, execute, and monitor marketing campaigns targeting leisure travelers, corporate clients, and sports organizations. Manage social media platforms and create engaging content to promote the resort’s offerings. Conduct market and competitor analysis to develop innovative positioning strategies. Create and update content for online and offline platforms. Oversee merchandise sourcing and management. Coordinate corporate photo and video shoots. Ensure brand consistency across all materials. Collaborate on promotional campaigns and events. Lead the Playitas Nature team and oversee the sustainability certification process.
* Sales & Business Development : Identify and engage potential B2B clients such as corporate groups, travel agencies, sports federations, and event planners. Support the creation of customized proposals for events and group bookings. Maintain a sales pipeline and follow up regularly. Represent the resort at industry events to generate leads. Work with reservations and operations to ensure smooth delivery. Monitor market trends to identify sales opportunities. Promote cross-selling and upselling to maximize revenue and guest satisfaction.
Requirements
* Degree in Marketing, Business, Tourism, or related field
* At least 2 years of experience in sales, marketing, or commercial roles, preferably in hospitality or tourism
* Strong commercial acumen and customer focus
* Excellent communication skills in English; German, Spanish, or other European languages are a plus
* Experience managing social media and digital marketing tools
* Knowledge of SEO, SEM, Google Analytics, and Email Marketing
* Proficient with design/content tools (Adobe Suite, Canva, CapCut)
* Highly organized, proactive, and team-oriented
* Affinity for sports and active lifestyles is a plus
