VIE Plastic Injection Engineer – Valeo Light Division
Valeo operates a high‑technology, integral platform that delivers automotive lighting solutions. The Martos plant in Spain, part of the Light Division, is seeking a Virtual International Entrepreneur Program (VIE) Plastic Injection Engineer for a 12‑month assignment.
Your challenges
- Technical feasibility – Analyze the feasibility of single or multi‑color injected aesthetic parts.
- Develop specific technical specifications for molds intended for consultation with mold suppliers.
- Verify and analyze 3‑D designs of molds using CATIA V5 according to established procedures, preparing them for manufacturing launch.
- Monitor mold tuning during production transfer.
- Participate with production teams in trials and final tuning of molds after realization.
- Lead short, specific missions on technical subjects related to plastics engineering (e.g., film overmolding, mold pressure sensors).
- Maintain direct communication with R&D;, Projects, and English‑speaking supplier teams.
About you
- Holding an engineering degree in plastics engineering, preferably with a focus on innovation.
- Experience in plastics engineering or a similar dual‑color injection environment is desired.
- Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus.
- Strong written skills, meticulous and organized, to manage varied missions.
- Excellent communication skills and an international mindset – open to new cultures and ways of working.
- Displays a humble, listening, positive, professional, and diplomatic attitude.
- Knowledge of CATIA V5 CAD software is advantageous.
