Service Quality Auditor
A leader in trailer rental, leasing, and maintenance solutions, Trailcon Leasing Inc. is currently hiring a Service Quality Auditor. Reporting to the Mobile Service Manager, the Service Quality Auditor plays a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and quality of work orders completed by mobile technicians and third-party vendors.
The Service Quality Auditor is responsible for the timely review and approval of work orders, verifying that services performed align with standards, and ensuring reasonable labor hours and proper documentation. This role is essential for maintaining high-quality service delivery and operational efficiency across all mobile service operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work Order Reviews: Conduct daily reviews and approvals of technical work orders to ensure accuracy and adherence to established standards.
* Coding Verification: Verify the appropriate use of coding for work performed (e.g., damage versus routine maintenance) to ensure proper categorization.
* Labor Line Item Verification: Confirm all labor line items are supported by before-and-after photos and that associated parts are accurately listed.
* Vendor Invoice Reconciliation: Reconcile vendor invoices against service calls, ensuring alignment with agreed terms and reasonable charges.
* Invoice Submission: Ensure all vendor invoices are submitted within 10 days of completed service.
* Reconciliation Window: Maintain all invoices within a 30-day reconciliation window.
* Disputed Charges: Address and resolve any disputed charges promptly.
* New Vendor Onboarding: Oversee the onboarding of new vendors by ensuring liability agreements are in place before services begin.
* Trend Identification: Identify trends or discrepancies in work orders and recommend improvements to enhance service quality and efficiency.
* Compliance and Performance Metrics: Maintain detailed records and provide regular updates to leadership on compliance and performance metrics.
Job Requirements:
* Technical Experience: Possess a 310J license or equivalent technical experience.
* Hands-on Experience: Minimum of five years of hands-on technical experience working on trailers.
* Critical Thinking: Strong attention to detail and ability to assess technical documentation critically.
* Communication Skills: Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills for effectively conveying and interpreting technical information.
* Integrity and Work Ethic: High level of integrity and a strong work ethic, ensuring consistent accountability and fairness.
* Prioritization and Time Management: Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
* Service Management Tools: Proficient in using service management and auditing tools to document findings and provide actionable insights.
