Overview
A well-established shipyard in Spain is seeking an experienced Ship Repair Manager to lead dry dock and afloat repair projects across a range of commercial vessels. This is a hands-on management position requiring strong technical insight, a solutions-oriented mindset, and the ability to coordinate complex repair scopes under tight timelines.

Key Responsibilities
* Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of ship repair projects in dock and alongside
* Coordinate across internal departments (steel, mechanical, electrical, coating, etc.) and subcontractors
* Ensure compliance with all class, flag state, and client requirements
* Drive project progress while maintaining safety, quality, and budget controls
* Lead client meetings, technical reviews, and progress reporting
* Work closely with the commercial team on repair scopes, estimates, and resource planning
* Monitor day-to-day production and resolve technical or logistical issues promptly
Ideal Candidate Profile
* 5 - 10+ years of experience in ship repair, dry docking, or shipyard operations
* Proven leadership of multidisciplinary ship repair teams
* In-depth technical knowledge of ship structures, systems, and repair procedures
* Strong communication and coordination skills with both internal teams and external clients
* English fluency essential;
Spanish or other European languages highly desirable
* Familiarity with class society standards and regulatory compliance
* Marine engineering or naval architecture background preferred
* Must have existing right to work in the EU
