**Función**:Actively participate in the development of the lettuce breeding program in Southeast Spain, working closely with the breeder to ensure the quality and effectiveness of field and greenhouse activities, and to support the introduction of competitive new varieties to the market.**Objetivo principal**:Contribute to the development of new lettuce varieties adapted to the Spanish market by providing technical and logístical support during the trial, evaluation, selection, and plant multiplication phases, in coordination with the breeding team and operational and commercial departments.**Descripción del puesto**:As a Breeding Assistant, you will support the lettuce breeder in the execution of the breeding program in Southeast Spain. Your work will involve field activities (mainly in the Murcia region) and frequent visits to the Águilas breeding station, as well as other growing areas depending on breeding targets. You will be responsible for organizing and monitoring T2/T3 trials, evaluating field plots, selecting plants, managing seed logistics, organizing crossings, and supervising greenhouse activities.
