Web Technical SEO & Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) Specialist
As a Web Technical SEO & Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) Specialist, you will help ensure our websites and digital content are easily discoverable by search engines and AI‑powered assistants. You will support technical SEO audits, structured data implementation, GEO readiness, and ongoing monitoring of site visibility and performance. You’ll work closely with developers and content teams to ensure our digital experiences remain crawlable, indexable, and LLM‑friendly.
What will you do: Technical SEO & GEO Audits
* Assist in conducting audits to identify issues in site structure, crawling, indexing, and content discoverability.
* Help evaluate pages for LLM/AI assistant visibility and GEO readiness.
Implementation Support
* Work with developers to apply Technical SEO and GEO recommendations during updates, migrations, and incremental improvements.
* Support the integration of structured data markup (e.g., Product, Article, FAQ, Breadcrumb).
Monitoring & Reporting
* Use SEO tools (Google Search Console, SEMrush, Analytics, etc.) to track KPIs and identify issues or opportunities.
* Produce routine reports summarizing trends, errors, indexing changes, structured data performance, and LLM‑related insights.
Best Practices & Documentation
* Stay up to date on search engine updates, LLM crawling models, AI‑driven search trends, and industry changes.
* Maintain documentation on Technical SEO guidelines and GEO requirements for internal teams.
Team Enablement
* Provide day‑to‑day support to content teams, designers, and POs on basic SEO and GEO best practices.
* Participate in training sessions and help promote adoption of Technical SEO guidelines.
What will make you successful:
* Experience in Technical SEO, website optimization, and organic visibility improvement.
* Familiarity with GEO concepts (experience is a bonus; willingness to learn is essential).
* Understanding HTML, CSS, and basic web development principles.
* Experience using SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, or similar.
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; ability to interpret data and follow structured troubleshooting.
* Good understanding of site architecture, internal linking, and crawling behaviors.
* Ability to communicate clearly with cross‑functional teams and translate technical issues into practical actions.
* Strong written and spoken English.
