For our dynamic, growing, and innovative Brands division within an established international pharmaceutical company, we seek an experienced Medical Affairs field professional. This role requires someone willing to think beyond traditional MSL responsibilities and operate autonomously with an entrepreneurial mindset.

This position offers the opportunity to develop broadly by engaging in all aspects of the business and managing your own daily work. Working alongside another Medical Manager based in Madrid, Spain, you will be responsible for the Medical Affairs strategy and execution of medical projects in Spain, while also supporting Sales and Marketing colleagues, with a demonstrable affinity for identifying commercial opportunities.

Applicants should reside in Spain (preferred locations include Andalucía—Sevilla, Malaga; Madrid; Barcelona, but candidates from other regions will also be considered) and speak English, due to communication with the European Management team. The reporting line is to the Lead Medical Managers Europe, with the European headquarters located in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Major Tasks & Responsibilities

* Develop and execute Medical Affairs strategies and scientific projects, including publications and advisory boards.
* Build and maintain peer-to-peer relationships with country KOLs and other influencers, utilizing evidence-based information.
* Support the development and launch of products through scientific exchange in melanoma.
* Assist with Early Access Program requests for melanoma patients in Spain.
* Provide business support to marketing, commercial, and market access teams for Odomzo (sonidegib) indicated for basal cell carcinoma.
* Lead the approval process for investigator-initiated trials and monitor their progression.
* Ensure timely, compliant dissemination of clinical and scientific information regarding marketed and pipeline compounds.
* Develop and support networks in Derma-oncology and other potential therapeutic areas.
* Communicate emerging data to experts and respond to healthcare professional inquiries.
* Support colleagues in organizing HCP events with medical content support.

Key Performance Indicators / Result Areas

* Planning and executing medical tactics in preparation for melanoma product launches.
* Enhancing awareness of sonidegib treatment among treating Derma-oncologists and the national KOL community.
* Planning and implementing peer-to-peer programs and engagement plans.
* Preparing targeted lists and organizing national symposia and scientific publications.
* Delivering scientific presentations and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Experience & Skills

* Mandatory : (bio)medical or scientific academic degree.
* Driver’s license.
* Minimum 3 years of MSL or Medical Manager experience in the innovative pharma industry.
* At least 1 year of experience in a commercial role within the industry.
* Desirable : Dermatology or Oncology experience.
* Desirable : Experience with Early Access Programs in Spain.
