We are looking for a Project Manager for our Innovation Committee, and you'll play a crucial role in driving process improvement and innovation. Based initially in Barcelona, you'll later relocate to the UK.
The role
1. Coordinate with plants to understand process improvement needs. Propose improvement and optimization projects.
2. Search for public funding to develop R+D+it projects.
3. State-of-the-art knowledge of new technologies and processes. Contact with technology centers and universities.
4. Coordinating internal resources and third parties for the correct execution of the project.
5. Ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
6. Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
7. Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
8. Develop a detailed project plan to track progress.
9. Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs.
10. Report and escalate to management as needed.
11. Manage the relationship with all stakeholders.
12. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
The person
13. Great educational background, preferably in chemical engineering.
14. Proven working experience as a project manager in the chemical or waste sector.
15. Solid technical background, with experience in R+D+it.
16. Good client-facing and internal communication skills.
17. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
18. Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
