Senior Data QA Engineer

Project Overview:
A global quick-service restaurant (QSR) brand with a franchise-based operational model is embarking on a digital transformation journey to streamline and unify its data and operational landscape across multiple franchisees. The brand operates in highly competitive and fast-paced retail and food service markets, requiring consistent, real-time insights and operational efficiency.
This project focuses on designing and implementing a centralised data integration and reporting platform to address key systemic challenges across the organisation’s franchise network.
Requirements:
* Fluent English and strong communication skills within technical and non-technical teams
* 3+ years of experience in data testing and code review
* 1–2 years of hands-on experience with Informatica IICS, SQL, and Snowflake
* Solid understanding of ETL processes, data models, and transformation validation
* Experience working in Agile methodologies, including sprint-based delivery and story refinement
* A hands-on, detail-oriented approach and strong sense of ownership for data quality
Responsibilities:
* Review data-related documentation, requirements, and mapping specifications to ensure testability and clarity
* Conduct code reviews for ETL logic and transformation rules implemented in Informatica IICS
* Perform comprehensive data validation and testing at various pipeline stages, including source, staging, and final warehouse layers
* Verify output integrity in Snowflake, using SQL queries to confirm logic accuracy and completeness
* Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and analysts in an Agile environment to support continuous delivery
* Log, document, and follow up on defects and data quality issues
