As the Global Process Owner, you will act as a strategic Payroll and BPO services business advisor understanding market demands, developments and trends and to further drive the SD Worx technical and services roadmap in additional to driving the strategic client partnership roadmaps. You will play a critical role in defining and establishing global standard processes for our newly created SAP MPS (Managed Payroll Services) and BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) service organization. This role will focus on designing, implementing, and maintaining global payroll and HR business process standards. You will drive continuous improvement while collaborating with clients and country teams to assess and manage localization activities, process deviations, recommending optimal solutions that align with both organizational and client needs. Furthermore, you will be instrumental in creating the global target operating model (TOM), country-specific operating models, and guiding the development of key operational documentation and training materialsQualifications and ExperienceWhich tasks can you expect? Design and define global and local process standards for SAP MPS and BPO payroll and HR services, ensuring scalability, compliance, and alignment with industry best practices. Design SAP Payroll Control Center global framework and it´s required localizations. Lead continuous process improvement by identifying optimization opportunities across global and country-specific processes. Collaborate with country teams and clients to assess process deviations, determine their impact, and approve or reject them. Recommend the most appropriate solutions that maintain alignment with global standards.Ensure that global and local process standards are clearly understood, implemented, and adhered to by country teams, while offering flexibility to accommodate client specific requirements. Lead the creation and development of the global target operating model (TOM), collaborating with local teams to build country operating models that integrate global and local standards and best practices. Participate in client and country-level discussions, providing expertise on process deviations, aligning processes with global standards, and proposing solutions that satisfy both local and global requirements. Oversee the creation and maintenance of Process Maps and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), guidelines, and other critical process documentation to ensure consistency across regions. Develop and implement comprehensive training plans for new team members, ensuring they are knowledgeable about general standards, operating models, and process documentation. Maintain close communication with key stakeholders (including country teams and clients) to ensure consistent application of global standards, procedures and process changes. Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure the integral process framework aligns with overall business objectives and client needs. Provide leadership and support for the creation or modification of processes, ensuring they meet global standards while accommodating local conditions. Continuously monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and new technologies to recommend process enhancements and maintain competitive advantages. What do you have to offer? 8 - 12 years of experience in HR and payroll outsourcing in an enterprise business environmentProven experience in process management within global payroll or HR services. Deep understanding of SAP Payroll Control Center and Robotic Process Automations. Deep understanding of SAP MPS and BPO processes, with a strong focus on global process design and standardization. Demonstrated ability to develop and implement global process standards and create operating models across multiple countries. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both country teams and clients to navigate process deviations, provide solutions, and resolve conflicts. Strong strategic thinking with a focus on operational excellence and continuous process optimization. Experience in creating and managing process documentation, Process Maps, SOPs, and training materials. Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives and develop strategies to enhance process efficiency and effectiveness. Ability to lead cross-functional teams and work effectively in a matrixed environment. Knowledge of HRIS, payroll systems, and automation technologies (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, Oracle HCM, SAP cloud payroll and PCC (Payroll Control Center), ADP, RPA, AI-driven solutions). Preferred Skills: Strong interest in Artificial Intelligence related to the Payroll and HR services space. Experience with BPMN (Business Process Model Notation) tooling such as Enterprise Architecture, LeanIX, Visio or SAP Signavio. Six Sigma, Lean, or other process improvement certification is a plus. Prosci or other change management certifications is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on continuous improvement.
