Summary/Objective

The Technical Sales Engineer will be responsible for interfacing with Customers (current and potential) in an effort to achieve revenue growth and customer acquisition objectives set forth by the Company. The Technical Sales Engineer will review customer specifications, assist in determining and understanding client equipment needs, generate quotes, and engage in follow up conversations with the customer regarding open opportunities. Members of the Sales and Customer Support Team will work periodically with the Engineering Department to ensure that quotations being supplied to customers meet the requirements set forth in the customer-supplied specification. The Sales Engineer will work closely with the Team Leader and Managing Director to ensure proper and accurate coverage of specific customer accounts.
Essential Functions
* Strong technical understanding of Transformer (Essential). Engineering Background.
* Understanding and reading Single-Line-Diagram, regarding substation design (Transformer, AIS)
* Serve as the technical point of contact for customers, supporting sales activities across utilities, EPCs, developers, and Data Centers.
* Follow-up technical meeting
* Involve in SAT/FAT Test and site installation activity with factory personnel
* Visit key clients (Developer, EPC, Utility…) with Sales Team in order to provide proper technical support and advice. Support customer presentations, site visits, and technical discussions.
* Review Customer specifications and generate quotations based on Engineering and Product knowledge. (with Engineering Center located in Korea)
* Prepare proposals, bid packages, equipment configurations, and cost estimates.
* Provide technical clarification and support during pre-award and post-award phases.
* Offer market, customer, and competitor insights to internal teams.
* Work with Customers to understand and assess equipment needs, making recommendations as needed.
* Provide excellent Sales and Engineering Service, including Technical Support, as needed.
* Engage in follow up conversations with Customers and Potential Customers to convert Open Opportunities into Sales Orders.
* Collaborate with Engineering Team and Purchasing Team to ensure that pricing structures are appropriate.
* Collaborate with other members of Sales Team and Customer Support Team, as well as external Sales Representatives to establish additional avenues for acquiring new customers and plans for meeting Order Intake goal.
* Attend daily/weekly internal Sales Meetings.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline (preferred).
* Experience in application engineering, sales engineering, or technical support roles involving transformers, switchgear, substations, power equipment, or related electrical systems.
* Strong technical understanding of power systems, grid infrastructure, and utility-scale renewable energy applications.
* Ability to read, interpret, and respond to technical specifications and customer requirements.

* Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. xsgfvud
* Experience preparing proposals, quotes, configurations, and detailed technical documentation.
