Your Role as a Reference & Master Data Specialist:
As a specialist in master and reference data, you’ll be the steward of the data that fuels decision‑making across the organisation. You’ll shape standards, safeguard consistency, and drive governance excellence – with Collibra at the heart. Working closely with business and technical teams, you’ll standardise definitions, document critical datasets, and ensure the accuracy, trust, and accessibility of the data that powers Siemens Energy’s mission.
What You’ll Do:
Identify, document, and maintain master and reference data assets across the business
Define and enforce data standards, policies, and governance best practices
Use Collibra to document data sources, metadata, definitions, lineage, and workflows
Create and maintain data dictionaries and governance structures within Collibra
Conduct data quality assessments and implement corrective and preventive measures
Build and track data quality metrics, dashboards, and governance KPIs
Support data cleansing, enrichment, and quality improvement initiatives
Engage stakeholders to understand data needs and ensure alignment across systems
Provide training, guidance, and support on data management principles and Collibra usage
Partner with IT and business teams to advance enterprise‑wide data governance
Lead or contribute to data initiatives that enhance data quality, automation, and process efficiency
Stay informed on industry trends, best practices, and Collibra advancements
What You Bring:
5+ years’ experience in data management, data governance, or a related discipline
Strong expertise in master and reference data management
Hands‑on experience using Collibra for data documentation and governance xhfqzwm
Deep knowledge of data management concepts, standards, and methodologies
Strong analytical mindset with meticulous attention to detail
Proficiency in data management tools and advanced Excel;
experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus
Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
Relevant certifications (e.G., CDMP, Collibra Ranger) are a strong advantage
