Account Manager, Interventional Oncology & Embolisation (Norte de España) – Boston Scientific
Location: País Vasco (Northern Spain). Assigned Territory: País Vasco, Navarra, Cantabria, Burgos.
About The Role
The core objective of this role is to support the Divisional Manager in achieving the goals and objectives of the Peripheral Interventions – Interventional Oncology & Embolisation division in the specified territories.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
* Account management for all products in the division: Therasphere, Ablation, Chemoembolization, and Core Business lines.
* Develop professional account management skills and acquire product knowledge, applying selling techniques in the medical device industry.
* Collaborate with marketing and other departments to develop the assigned commercial area.
* Regularly visit customers and/or potential customers to promote products and services to meet monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets, as agreed with the Manager.
* Manage existing customers and acquire new ones within the assigned territory under close guidance of the Manager.
* Plan and develop the market for existing and new products according to divisional goals and objectives, optimizing available tools (consignment, etc.).
* Participate in digital and in-person meetings required by the organization.
* Work efficiently with Boston Scientific CRM and digitalization projects on a regular basis.
* Provide and receive ongoing technical and clinical training and support to customers directly in the operating room on a weekly basis.
* Establish and maintain strong business relationships with hospital management, purchasing departments, and staff.
* Attend meetings, conferences, and exhibitions to promote Boston Scientific products and services.
* Analyze and report market and business feedback to the Manager and others on a regular basis.
* Represent Boston Scientific values and integrity.
* Participate in local & EMEA team projects upon request.
What we are looking for in you
* Preferred background in Health Sciences and/or engineering.
* About 1–2 years of experience in medical device or pharmaceutical sales and/or background in interventional oncology, embolization, ablation, or SIRT products.
* Experience supporting procedures in Cath labs highly appreciated.
* Preferably based in the País Vasco area.
* Experience with Interventional Oncology products & procedures.
* Prior multidisciplinary work experience in tumor committees.
* Local customers and market knowledge.
* Experience preparing tenders and working with purchase centers and other hospital stakeholders.
* Fluency in English.
* Motivation and positive attitude.
* Availability for travel within the area of responsibility and nationally when necessary.
* Experience with digital tools will be highly appreciated.
