Welo Data is looking for a German Lyric Reviewer to help us train cutting-edge AI. This role is perfect for you if you're a linguistic expert who loves music and wants to help improve automated translation systems. Your work will directly impact how AI understands and translates song lyrics.
This is a review-only position—no translation or editing is required. You'll simply evaluate the quality and accuracy of machine-translated lyrics from English to German.
Key Responsibilities
* Assess machine-translated lyrics for meaning, naturalness, and contextual flow.
* Provide quality ratings based on predefined criteria.
* Identify and flag translation issues, awkward phrasing, or cultural missteps.
* Maintain a consistent and objective judgment throughout the review process.
Project Details
* Pay Rate: Approximately $17/hour for Learning Explicitness & Translation Quality
* Location: Remote work, available to residents in many countries including Germany, US, Spain and Remote.
* Hours: Flexible schedule, with an average of 4 hours per day.

Qualifications
* Native-level or near-native proficiency in both English and German.
* A deep understanding of linguistic nuances, idioms, and cultural context in both languages.
* The ability to maintain focus and attention to detail when reviewing large volumes of content.
* Prior experience in translation, localization, or linguistic quality assessment is a plus.
* Bonus points if you have:
* Familiarity with various music genres and lyrical styles.
* Experience with online evaluation tools or platforms.
