ICAO code LELH - Alhama de Murcia Aerodromo.We are looking for an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to contribute to the establishment and successful operation of our new department where your skills will enable our Alhama de Murcia campus to run an efficient flight schedule for our growing pool of students.This is a full-time role working 39 hours per week, based at our Alhama de Murcia Campus. The working schedule may include weekend and evening shifts.Role Duties Carry out line maintenance (daily, weekly, service checks) on Diamond, Piper and Cessna aircraft types. Perform other work on aircraft as outlined by applicable Inspection Instructions, Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins in accordance with accepted practices.Ensure that all items of work are recorded and signed out as required on the applicable Maintenance Control forms.Carry out any other assigned duties as directed by the supervisor/manager.Track and plan maintenance activities and coordinate with the Flight Operations Manager as requiredDemonstrate and uphold the company's core values in all actions, decisions, and interactions.Core Competencies Hold a valid UKCAA or EASA B1.2 aircraft maintenance engineer license (preferably both!)Minimum 2 years of licensed AME experienceBe familiar with the appropriate parts of the MPM, MCM, aircraft operations specifications and maintenance manuals necessary for the performance of his/her duties.Applicants must be able to work independently and/or in a team environment and have good organizational skills, pro-active, result-oriented and strive for continued improvement.Must be able to work a flexible schedule according to company needs.Must be legally eligible to work in SpainOther requirements Line maintenance experience is an asset.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a positive and enthusiastic outlook.Demonstrable alignment with the company's core values in attitude, conduct, and work ethic.We know a great team member is more than a checklist.
