Your role
Le Corporate Optimization Transport Manager will design and develop complex transportation networks (Linehaul and Last Mile) from scratch, redesign existing networks, and integrate solutions across business units.
Key responsibilities
* Design and develop complex transportation networks.
* Seek and implement solutions within Transportation Management Systems (TMS); evaluate and select the most advanced route‑optimisation tools.
* Implement and maintain route‑optimisation models using specialised software.
* Design and improve carrier tariff structures.
* Identify optimisation opportunities based on data and KPI analysis within existing networks.
* Standardise transport processes across countries and business units.
* Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives in transport operations (Kaizen, A3, etc.).
* Collaborate with logistics, operations, and executive teams to implement strategic changes to routes.
* Define, develop, monitor and analyse transport KPIs (cost, service, quality, emissions).
* Ensure implementation and follow‑up of initiatives across countries.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, transport management, logistics or a similar field.
* Written and spoken English at C1 level.
* Minimum 5 years of prior experience in designing and developing complex transportation networks.
* Solid knowledge of transport processes (LTL, FTL, express, etc.) and pricing models.
* Advanced knowledge of route optimisation software and data analysis tools.
* Experience with customer quality indicators, KPIs and sector benchmarking.
* Experience implementing continuous‑improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.).
* Knowledge and experience in long‑distance transport, parcel delivery and courier services.
Desirable
* Master’s Degree or postgraduate qualification in supply chain management.
* Experience in management positions within logistics and transport companies.
* Background in supply chain consulting, providing services to multinational clients.
* Knowledge of transportation regulations and standards.
* Other languages are desirable.
* Travelling availability.
