Position: Assistant Sommelier

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Assistant Sommelier to join our wine team and support the delivery of exceptional wine service in one of the most distinguished dining destinations in the Balearic Islands.

Our restaurant is the only establishment in the Balearics elected as a Bollinger Embassy and has been personally selected by Château d'Yquem for exclusive guest tastings, reflecting our commitment to excellence in wine culture and hospitality.

Responsibilities
\n
- Assist the Head Sommelier in delivering refined and attentive wine service.
- Guide guests through our curated wine list with knowledge, elegance, and confidence.
- Support wine pairings, service of premium bottles, and tableside presentation.
- Maintain cellar organization, stock control, and wine preparation for service.
- Ensure proper glassware, temperature, and presentation standards.
- Contribute to continuous learning and wine training within the team.
Profile\n
- Passion for fine wines and elevated gastronomy.
- Previous experience in fine dining or Michelin-level service preferred.
- Strong communication skills and natural hospitality.
- WSET certification or equivalent wine education is a plus.
- Team player with precision, professionalism, and enthusiasm for learning.
