About the role
The PMI Lead Compliance is responsible for leading and coordinating all Internal Control and Compliance activities related to mergers, acquisitions, and post‑merger integration (PMI), driving due diligence, integration planning, and execution to ensure alignment with the SD Worx Compliance requirements.
Responsibilities
- Conduct due diligence on potential M&A; transactions, in collaboration with expert functions and other stakeholders to identify Internal Control & Compliance risks related to a transaction.
- Define integration plans for Internal Control & Compliance to mitigate identified risk and evolve towards the SD Worx standard.
- Lead the integration project of newly acquired assets or entities from an Internal Control & Compliance related perspective.
- Collaborate with the M&A; and PMI team, other cross‑functional teams (such as finance), business stakeholders, management and other legal & compliance functions.
- Manage stakeholder communication and reporting at all levels.
- Assist in the development and implementation of processes and best practices related to M&A; and PMI activities.
- Assist with and manage other Internal Control & Compliance projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in business management.
- Proven track record in project management preferably within an international company.
- Affinity with Internal Control and Compliance and/or ESG.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills: fluent in English (oral and written); sound knowledge of another language is considered a plus.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail in planning, documentation, and execution of M&A; and PMI activities.
- Effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery, stakeholder alignment and engagement across the Internal Control & Compliance and PMI teams.
- Organizational skills that allow you to plan and prioritise projects, as well as strong analytical, negotiation and contract drafting skills.
- Experience with working in an international environment, preferably in the services industry.
- Proactive approach to problem‑solving and a commitment to delivering high‑quality work. Hands‑on and can‑do mentality.
- Be open to occasional travel within Europe.
