As an Area Sales Manager for Spain, you will be instrumental in establishing and expanding our sales presence in the region, particularly focusing on our innovative separation technologies. You'll work closely with existing customers while proactively seeking new business opportunities to enhance our market position. This role can be based anywhere across Spain.Responsibilities:
- Engage with key customers across Spain to cultivate relationships and optimize Eriez's product offerings in the region- Utilise a consultative sales approach to deliver tailored solutions for industries such as mining, mineral processing, and more- Dedicate a significant portion of your time to developing new customer accounts while also supporting existing ones- Conduct technical site visits as required to understand customer needs and provide effective solutions- Maintain organised and detailed records of all customer interactions within our CRM system- Align with corporate management to ensure that regional goals are met, frequently updating on progress and challenges- Travel throughout Spain for customer visits (70% of the time), with occasional trips to the USA for training and collaboration with the global team- Represent Eriez at industry exhibitions and trade shows across Europe as necessaryRequirements- Proven experience in B2B/Industrial sales within Spain - Experience supplying equipment for mining and minerals industries would be extremely advantageous- Fluency in English and at least one of the local languages is required. Knowledge of multiple local languages is advantageous- Ability to manage and develop major customer accounts while engaging effectively with stakeholders- Strong prospecting skills and a demonstrated track record of closing sales- Adept at making independent decisions and demonstrating initiative- Experience in market analysis, sales planning, and managing budgets effectively- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet sales targets- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory and participate in training in the USA- A commitment to continuous professional development and an openness to mentorship- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with customers and colleaguesBenefitsAs we do not have a legal entity in Spain, the successful candidate will be hired through an Employer of Record service.
