The team is composed of automotive engineers with extensive industry experience, coming from leading Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and Tier 1 suppliers, and is supported by a board of industry experts and investors.

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Calibration Engineer with hands‑on experience in electric motor control systems and battery management systems (BMS). The successful candidate will be responsible for performing system calibration, validation, and optimization both on test benches and in vehicles. This role involves close collaboration with customers, understanding their technical needs, and delivering tailored solutions while ensuring smooth integration and performance of electric powertrain components.


Key Responsibilities

Conduct calibration and optimization of electric motor control systems and BMS on test benches and vehicles.

Analyze system performance data to identify improvement opportunities and ensure compliance with specifications.

Develop and execute calibration procedures and test plans for performance, efficiency, and reliability.

Serve as the primary technical contact for customers on calibration and system performance topics.

Understand customer requirements, issues, and feedback to provide timely and effective solutions.

Support commissioning and troubleshooting activities at customer sites as needed.

Interface with R&D teams to communicate field issues, calibration results, and potential software or hardware improvements.

Provide detailed reports on calibration activities, performance results, and proposed enhancements.

Contribute to internal process improvements to enhance customer experience and streamline technical support operations.

Support the development of new calibration methodologies and tools.

Propose and help implement improvements to product performance, reliability, and usability based on customer interactions.

Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of emerging technologies and industry trends in electric propulsion and battery systems.


Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum 2 years of experience in calibration, testing, or application engineering, preferably in electric powertrains, motor controls, or battery management systems.

Proven experience working directly with customers in a technical or field support role.

Strong understanding of electric motor control algorithms, inverters, and BMS architecture.

Hands‑on experience with data analysis, test automation, and vehicle testing environments.

Familiarity with CAN ‑ LIN communication, embedded systems, and real‑time control systems.

Programming skills and HiL experience to create validation routines (Python, HiL HW experience)

Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective customer interaction.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross‑functional teams.

High level of organization and attention to detail.
