EU Regional Business Development - Spanish MarketFuture Learning is currently looking to expand our international sales team and is seeking a highly motivated, energetic, experienced, and confident Regional Business Developer to oversee our Spanish and parts of the EU Market while based in Spain.EU Regional Business Developer - based in SpainAs an EU Regional Business Developer, you will work in international sales, driven to achieve sales targets through all channels and markets. Reporting to the EU Senior Sales Executive, your responsibilities include retaining and developing existing clients, securing new customers and routes to market, and supporting the development of innovative Future Learning projects.The ideal candidate is creative, energetic, positive, detail-oriented, fun, and a team player. Being organized and attentive to detail is crucial for success in this role.Key Responsibilities :
Drive repeat sales via B2B and B2C relationships/networks.Generate new sales opportunities through relationships, routes to market, and creative product offerings.Record all sales opportunities in the CRM system.Monitor leads, opportunities, and pipelines using the CRM system.Respond promptly to all leads and inquiries, prioritizing effectively.Collaborate with other departments on new business proposals to ensure deliverability and profitability.Achieve specific sales targets for new Future Learning centers and champion their development.Identify in-country opportunities as they arise.Attend external events, conferences, and workshops.Travel as required to visit clients within your assigned region.Stay informed on market trends, monitor competitors, and report intelligence.Meet annual sales targets and KPIs.Provide progress reports and sales data to directors.Build a network for market intelligence and new opportunities.Maintain in-depth knowledge of Future Learning programs.Manage and develop key accounts.Manage customer expectations effectively.Participate in weekly sales meetings and strategic discussions.Expand the FL brand in additional EU countries when needed.Assist with translation, design, and production of marketing materials in Spanish.Key Personal Goals :
Identify new sales agents and partners in Spain, Portugal, and other regions like France, Germany, etc.Strengthen relationships with existing agents, partners, and suppliers.Achieve sales targets and collaborate as a team.Use customer feedback to improve our offerings.Develop bookings within adult and young learner sectors.Person Specification :
Based in Spain.Bachelor's degree in Sales and Marketing or equivalent.Fluent in Spanish and English;
other EU languages are a plus.At least 3 years of experience in the International Language Education Industry.Background in account management, sales, or marketing.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Experience working with diverse cultures and English levels.Organizational and administrative skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Attention to detail and accuracy.Comfortable with numbers and spreadsheets.Flexible and proactive in a dynamic environment.Customer-focused with a professional demeanor.Willing to travel frequently.Knowledge of Ireland as a language travel destination is desirable.Driving license is a plus.Experience with digital marketing and CRM systems.Additional benefits include a service fee of €21,000 to €24,000 per year plus commission, with potential total earnings of €33,000 to €36,000+ based on performance. Spanish working hours apply, and travel may be required, including overseas. The role is full-time at a mid-senior level.
