We’re partnering with a fast-growing energy services consulting firm to recruit a Senior Manager – CAEs Commercial & Market Development to lead commercial expansion within the Spanish Certificados de Ahorro Energético (CAEs) market.
This is a senior, high-impact role for a commercially driven professional ready to originate opportunities, build strategic partnerships and structure energy efficiency projects that generate CAEs.
You will play a key role in positioning the company as a leading player in the Spanish energy efficiency ecosystem.
What you’ll be doing
- Originate and structure energy efficiency projects eligible for CAEs generation.
- Build and manage a strong commercial pipeline from lead generation to deal closing.
- Develop partnerships with industrial clients, ESCOs, engineering firms and energy service providers.
- Structure commercial agreements for CAEs monetisation.
- Translate complex regulatory frameworks into clear commercial value propositions.
- Work closely with technical teams to turn opportunities into bankable CAEs projects.
- Represent the company in industry events and strengthen market presence.
What we’re looking for
- 8–12 years in business development, energy services or energy efficiency markets.
- Strong “hunter” mindset with proven experience closing B2B deals.
- Solid network within the energy efficiency ecosystem (industry, ESCOs, engineering firms, utilities…).
- Ability to combine technical understanding + commercial vision.
- Entrepreneurial, strategic and results-driven profile.
- Fluent English.
