We are a general consumer goods company specializing in innovative products for parents and children ( As part of our European expansion, we are seeking a Sales Area Manager to join our growing team.
This role is key to ensuring sales growth and commercial performance of the following territories: Spain and Portugal
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Business Development
- Deliver measurable sales growth and exceed revenue targets across markets.
- Identify, open, and activate new retail and online accounts to expand coverage.
- Develop country-specific action plans to drive market share and brand visibility.
In-Store & Online Strategy
- Negotiate strategic product placements to secure the best visibility and maximize sales potential.
- Implement POS materials and Visual Merchandising to guarantee a consistent brand image according to Marketing guidelines
- Ensure that online brand presence reflects the quality of our in-store execution
Product Knowledge & Account Management
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with key retailers
- Conduct regular sales reviews, joint business plans, and sell-out tracking
- Lead effective product trainings to enhance retail staff engagement, brand advocacy, and sell-out performance
Operational Management
- Develop annual sales budgets and forecasts for the assigned area.
- Analyze sales performance reports and provide management with strategic insights and recommendations.
- Represent the company at trade shows, networking events, and business meetings within the territory.
Requirements:
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with operational execution skills and results-driven approach.
- Fluent in Spanish and English (both written and spoken), additional languages such as Portuguese is an asset.
Work Arrangement
- Hybrid position based in Spain (Madrid or Barcelona)
- Position reports to Doona European Sales Manager
- Travel: travel is required to the area, to the Prague office and/or to participate in market events (e.G., trade/consumer shows)
