We#39;re looking for a b Electrica Engineer /b who would support DEIMOS on the complete cycle of live of electronic products. /p pb What#39;s the Challenge? /b /p p Indra Deimos is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join the b AIT team /b in Spain. /pp The candidate will b lead the design, development and testing /b satellite data and power distribution of advanced satellites mainly for Earth Observation missions. /pp The candidate will b define system-level data and power distribution /b, ensure robust grounding, harness design, and signal integrity and provide technical authority across all mission phases. /pp This role requires strong knowledge of spacecraft subsystems, common communication buses, harness, EMC and the ability to interface with multidisciplinary engineering teams. /p pb Responsabilities /b /p ulli Define and own the satellite power and data distribution, including interface boards, umbilical(s), power distribution units, and regulation/conversion electronics. /lili Translate mission requirements into power and data distribution concepts, EMC performance assessment, and grounding concepts. /lili Lead trade-offs between architectures (point-to-point with interface board(s), direct connection(s), backplane, etc). /lili Generate and maintain EMC, grounding, harness requirements, EICDs, and interface specifications with spacecraft and payload subsystems. /lili Develop power budgets, energy balance analyses, and end-of-life sizing for mission scenarios. /lili Ensure compliance with mission reliability, redundancy, and derating standards (ECSS/internal standards for NextSpace missions). /lili Oversee development and procurement of harness, coordinating with suppliers and in-house teams. /lili Support test campaigns (functional, thermal vacuum, load tests) and spacecraft AIT (Assembly, Integration, and Testing). /lili Act as technical authority during reviews (PDR, CDR, TRR, FRR), ensuring system readiness. /lili Provide mentoring and technical guidance to junior electrical engineers. /lili integration into the overall satellite mission. /lili Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical, thermal, software, VV Team and systems engineers, to define requirements, interfaces, and system-level specifications. /lili Support the procurement team with technical assessment on the items to be provided. /lili Stay up to date with the latest advancements in avionics, satellite technologies, and space systems to drive innovation and continuous improvement in our designs. /lili Contribute to the preparation of technical documentation, including system specifications, design reports, and test plans. /li /ul pb Must have /b /p ulli A recognized engineering degree (Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, Electronic) or a related degree (e.g., Physics, Maths) /lili Required: 5+ years of experience in satellite electrical design and development (or similar experience), including flight projects. /lili The position will be tailored to the level of experience and additional industrial experience would be viewed very positively. /li /ul pb What We Offer: /b /p ulli /ul /li
