Seeking a hands-on SAP REFX Specialist to drive the implementation and optimization of Revenue Accounting and Revenue Recognition processes in a major SAP transformation program. This role focuses on configuring SAP REFX functionalities, validating revenue processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting end-to-end revenue lifecycle management. The SAP REFX Specialist will collaborate closely with business users, technical teams, and third-party partners to deliver accurate, timely, and audit-compliant revenue solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Configure and maintain SAP REFX processes, including Revenue Recognition, Contract Accounting, Billing Integration, and Revenue Reporting.
* Collaborate with Finance and business stakeholders to analyze revenue processes, define requirements, and validate revenue postings in the system.
* Support testing activities by developing test scripts, executing unit testing and integration testing, and validating results to ensure compliance with accounting standards (IFRS 15 / ASC 606).
* Assist in data migration, reconciliation, and cutover activities related to revenue and contract data.
* Identify and resolve functional issues, defects, and discrepancies in revenue accounting processes, escalating critical items when necessary.
* Maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations, workflows, validation results, and reconciliation reports.
* Act as a subject matter expert on SAP REX, providing guidance on best practices, process improvements, and compliance requirements.
* Participate in workshops, meetings, and governance sessions, ensuring alignment and timely delivery of revenue-related solutions.
