Position: Layout Artist
The Layout Artist generates the previsualization of the film and refines the final camera movements, in accordance with established storytelling guidelines, working closely with the Layout Leads.
Responsibilities
* Work on the creation of the movie preview stream, according to the Director's guidelines and reporting to the Lead.
* Work with Layout Lead and Art Director to design and build simple schematics for set & prop models.
* Create a rough layout, defining character animation blocking and camera work, following the storytelling guidelines.
* Create the atmosphere of a scene, including lighting effects and narrative elements.
* Ensure proper scene breakdown and good management of personal work.
* Refine camera work.
* Collaborate with other teams as necessary.
Requirements
* Extensive knowledge of Maya.
* 2-3 years of professional experience.
* At least 1 year of experience in the animation industry.
* Experience with Lighting is a plus.
* Strong proficiency in English language.
