Objective & Mission The key role of the IoT Commissioning Engineer is to ensure customer sites are well connected to the cloud and ensure valid asset data are flowing from the customer’s site to the EAA (Eco-structure Asset Advisor) platform.
\n
This position is accountable for:
\n
Upgrading the customer critical assets with smart sensors and communication features
\n
Configure gateway, and connect critical assets to the cloud
\n
Integration (preparation, connectivity, validation, and cybersecurity compliance)
\n
Collecting all data requested for Digital platform provisioning (done by Connected Services Hub (CSH))
\n
Supporting the preparation and execution phases of complex solutions
\n
On-site intervention following CSH insights from condition-based monitoring, customer requests
\n
Main responsibilities
\n
Review customer electrical distribution network (HV, LV…) to identify critical assets to be upgraded, compile all installation info (equipment and IT) and collect cybersecurity requirements
\n
Preparation of work and staging: sensor pairing, custom model, firmware upgrade, gateway association to tenant, off-site testing; and validation of Bill of Materials including modem & SIM card
\n
Installation of new sensors and/or protection relays on site
\n
Configure communications and connect digital devices (relays, sensors, SMD, …) to gateway
\n
ETP connection: connect system to the Internet – Schneider cloud platform (northbound)
\n
Commission the IT/IoT portion of the digital services: coordination with other SE Field Services Engineers/Eco-Experts/Subcontractors/Customer’s staff
\n
End to End testing and validation to ensure successful connection
\n
Troubleshoot End to End connectivity including ETP using procedure and ticketing tool
\n
Compile project data for provisioning by CSH into Eco-Struxure Asset Advisor (EAA) Platform, project data should be complete to prevent delays in CSH provisioning
\n
Validate the communication architecture for devices and gateways to retrieve and publish data for the assets up to the EAA Platform.
\n
Be the technical warrant of the services capabilities in front of the customer.
\n
Support customer projects on all connectivity matters including cyber security and analytics (including 3rd party solutions and 3rd party sensors).

Willingness to travel internationally for 70% of the working time
\n
Education & Experience
\n
2+ years university degree or equivalent experience with at least 1 year of related experience
\n
Advanced in Automation, IT solutions and networks (TCP/IP, Modbus, IEC61850…), digital systems integration, software setting
\n
Knowledge of LV and MV products (knowing Schneider Electric products is advantage)
\n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skill
\n
Mandatory: fluent communication in English language (B2+ level min)
\n
Flexibility & Reliability, Focus on technical details & Customer focus, Team player, Leadership skills
\n
Good Software tools literacy: MS Office, Acrobat, AutoCAD
\n
