The opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Modern Trade Business Development Manager to join our team. In this role, you will lead our sales organization to achieve brand, volume, value, and margin targets within all Modern Trade channels. You will have direct accountability and full management responsibility to negotiate at the highest level with Key Account Customers and build strong trading relationships.
Core Purpose of the Job:
* Develop and execute Modern Trade Business Development Plans in line with SDL & Business Unit objectives.
* Lead the MT sales organization (Region/Country based) to deliver brand, volume, value, and margin targets through efficient utilization of Category Management best practices and resources within the agreed financial framework.
* Manage relationships with Key Customers throughout the GCC to ensure Almarai is the trading Partner Of Choice within each category.
* Translate Key Customers’ needs into actionable insights to build mutual business and communicate a clear vision for Category Growth within the customer base throughout the GCC.
Candidates without the following will not be considered:
* Minimum 12 years of managerial experience at a senior level in a large organization.
* At least 5 years in Business Development, Key Account Management, and/or Trade Marketing experience with a reputable FMCG company in the Middle East.
* Evidence of well-developed Key Account management skills and a proven track record of delivering results in a competitive environment.
* Experience in managing international Key Accounts.
* 3 years’ experience as a Sales Manager in FMCG business
* Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, and verbal skills in Arabic.
* Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skill
