About the Role At iLovePDF, the majority of our business originates from inbound leads. However, these opportunities vary significantly in size and complexity. While many organizations can be efficiently served through our self-serve solutions, others require dedicated sales engagement to unlock their full potential. We’re creating a strategic new role for a
Sales Development Representative (SDR)
who will be 100% responsible for managing all incoming business leads:
Qualify every inbound lead
and decide how best to handle it. Personally close deals for small businesses
without involving the rest of the Sales team. Escalate medium-to-large opportunities
to the Sales team, with a fully pre-qualified brief. Drive outbound efforts
to generate new leads and expand our pipeline. By owning and expanding our small and medium-sized business segment, this role ensures we capture all revenue opportunities, while the rest of the Sales team focuses on larger mid-market and enterprise deals that typically involve longer evaluation cycles.
What you will do:
Analyse and qualify all incoming requests. Based on the lead criteria, you may either:
manage and close the deal yourself, direct customers to our self-serve solution when suitable, or escalate larger leads to Sales Managers, who will handle the rest of the process. Maximize conversion rates from inbound leads. Develop and execute outbound strategies to generate new leads. Identify untapped niches, customer segments, or geographic markets. Collaborate with Marketing on targeted outreach campaigns. Continuously feed the Sales pipeline with high-quality leads. Suggest improvements and automations to streamline lead qualification and handling. Create and refine qualification scripts, email sequences, and CRM workflows.
What we’re looking for:
Between 2 and 3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within the SaaS or Tech industry. Proven experience in both qualifying and closing deals, even smaller deals. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Comfortable handling high volumes of inbound leads. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and effective in fast-paced environments. Capable of making autonomous decisions with confidence and responsibility. Proactive mindset with a continuous improvement approach. Experienced in working with CRM tools and analysing sales metrics. Fluency in English and, at least, a basic understanding of Spanish. EU citizen or a valid work permit to work in Spain. Nice to have:
Knowledge of Portuguese or any other language is a plus. Outbound experience.
