The Sales team for Iberia handles all sales activities from initial customer contact to submitting offers, negotiating new contracts for wind farms, and closing deals. It involves interacting with various stakeholders, including internal teams.
Our goal is to be a top market player and ensure Vestas remains a global partner in sustainable energy solutions.
Responsibilities
* Interact daily with targeted customers, understanding their business cases to develop compelling value propositions.
* Screen and evaluate sales opportunities.
* Prioritize projects and customers, optimizing resource use and developing sales engineers.
* Manage the entire sales cycle: from identifying potential customers to negotiating and closing contracts for wind energy projects.
* Coordinate across disciplines within a matrix organization, aligning technical, financial, legal, and other solutions with customer needs in collaboration with Vestas departments.
* Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including customers, authorities, and utilities.
* Monitor market trends and developments.
* Contribute to the development of Vestas' regional commercial strategy.
Qualifications
* BS/MS in engineering, business administration, or related field.
* At least 5 years of sales experience in energy, machinery, construction, or large infrastructure projects; experience in wind energy sales is a plus.
* Strong commercial and legal understanding of customer environments.
* Fluent in English and Spanish.

Additional Info
Living in Madrid is required. Availability to travel (1-2 days per month) is also required.
