Ph3Overview /h3pAs a trainee in the Financial Planning and Analysis (FPA) or Controlling team, you will have the opportunity to gain practical experience and develop essential skills in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. This one-year internship will provide you with exposure to the dynamic world of private equity investments and the financial operations of portfolio companies. /ph3Key Responsibilities /h3ulliFinancial Analysis: Assist in conducting financial analysis and modelling to support investment decision-making processes. This includes evaluating financial statements, performing corporate strategy analysis, and assessing the firm’s performance. /liliBudgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with the FPA team to assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts for the company. Help analyse variances between actual and projected financial results and provide insights to support decision-making. /liliReporting and Presentation: Assist in the preparation of financial reports and presentations for internal stakeholders, including senior management and investment teams. Help consolidate financial data and present key findings in a clear and concise manner. /liliData Management: Support the team in maintaining accurate financial data and ensuring data integrity across various systems and platforms. Assist in streamlining data collection processes and implementing improvements where necessary. /liliAd hoc Projects: Contribute to special projects as assigned by the FPA or Controlling team, which may involve financial due diligence, market research, or process improvement initiatives. Take ownership of assigned tasks and deliver high-quality results within specified timelines. /liliCollaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including accounting, operations and human resources teams, to gather relevant financial information and partner on business development strategic analysis. /li /ulh3Skills And Qualifications /h3ulliBachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics or Engineering. /liliStrong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and perform financial modelling. /liliAdvanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with experience in financial modelling preferred. /liliKnowledge of accounting principles and financial statement analysis. /liliExcellent attention to detail and organizational skills. /liliStrong written and verbal communication skills. /liliAbility to work independently and in a team-oriented environment. /liliPrior internship or coursework in finance, private equity, or related fields is a plus. /li /ulh3Start Date /h3pWe are ideally looking for post-graduate candidates available to join between March and May (at the latest). /ph3Work Eligibility /h3pApplicants must already have the right to work in Spain/Europe. /ppTo learn how we handle your personal data during the recruitment process, please review our Candidate Privacy Policy.
