WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?
Our projects are state‑of‑the‑art and innovative, offering best‑in‑class solutions for onboard RF, GNSS receivers for space applications and active payloads for navigation signal generation and positioning.
Based on software‑defined radio (SDR) technologies for different orbital regimes—launchers, LEO, higher orbits, LEO constellations, future lunar communications and navigation services, and inter‑satellite links—we provide on‑board RF solutions and products.
The GNSS Section is present in Spain, Poland and the United Kingdom. We collaborate with different partners and other departments such as avionics, space equipment, robotics, mission analysis and onboard software.
As Technical Lead of RF Navigation Payloads and On‑Board Signal Processing, your duties will be:
- Contribution to the definition and implementation of all aspects of RF payload development.
- Systems engineering and identification of payload elements.
- Definition of requirements, architecture and design.
- Deployment, validation, testing and performance activities.
- Technical coordination to propose solutions for product design.
- Contribution to the definition of the company’s strategy with clients.
- Production and review of technical documentation for RF activities.
- Participation in client meetings and reviews.
WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?
We are looking for a technical leader with experience in RF payloads, onboard GNSS receivers and RF signal generators for space mission applications. The role is transversal across projects in Spain, Poland, and the United Kingdom, linked to ESA activities and commercial projects within the Flight and Robotics Guided, Navigation and Control (GNC) Segment.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required qualifications include:
- Master’s Degree in Telecommunications, Microwave or RF Electronics Engineering.
- At least 5 years of experience in designing RF payload architectures and technologies.
- Knowledge of system/subsystem design, integration and validation.
- Experience with radio signals and digital signal processing.
- Experience with RF technologies and equipment (low and high powered amplifiers, filters, frequency converters).
- Software development in C and Matlab/Simulink.
- Decision‑making capacity and client dialogue.
- Leadership and negotiation skills.
- Fluent level of English and willingness to travel internationally.
ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE WE VALUE
- Antennas, breadboarding and modelling.
- Signal coding, modulation technologies and techniques.
- Software/Hardware development, embedded software, real‑time environments.
- Software‑defined radio platforms, Galileo signal knowledge, GNSS.
