About The Role
An opportunity has arisen for a Bar Manager position to join our F&B; Department in Jumeirah Mallorca.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure consistent bar operations, including stock management, cocktail preparation, drink service, and adherence to local licensing laws and responsible alcohol service.
- Train and develop F&B; team members on products, cocktail knowledge, selling techniques, and formal beverage programs such as WSET and mixology.
- Monitor beverage costs, control stock levels, manage orders, and drive revenue while maintaining profitability through analysis and efficient stock rotation.
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, secure marketing support, and coordinate on new menu and wine list developments.
- Oversee compliance with health, safety and hygiene standards, including HACCP requirements, cleanliness, staff training, and accurate reporting.
About You
- Proven experience managing bar operations in a high‑end hotel, resort, or F&B; outlet.
- Strong leadership and team development skills, with experience coaching staff in cocktail service, wine, and beverage knowledge.
- Solid understanding of stock control, cost management, and profitability in bar operations.
- Excellent knowledge of beverage programs, mixology, and responsible alcohol service.
- Familiarity with health, safety and hygiene standards, including HACCP compliance and operational best practices.
