About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Seaport Project Manager to lead a major 4-year marine infrastructure project based in Miami. This is a high-impact role requiring a Civil Engineer specializing in ports and waterways (BS in Civil Engineering – Ports, Canals & Coastal focus).
Key Requirements:
15+ years of experience in marine civil construction, specifically ports and seaport projects.
Professional fluency in English & Spanish (written and spoken).
Proven track record managing large-budget construction projects ($100M+).
Strong command of international regulations and standards.
International experience and working with multicultural teams are highly valued.
Senior Project Manager Competencies:
Strategic Planning & Execution – Define project roadmap, allocate resources, and ensure alignment with owner's goals.
Budget & Cost Control – Oversee multimillion-dollar budgets, forecast expenses, and drive cost efficiency.
Risk Management – Identify, assess, and mitigate technical, financial, and schedule risks.
Leadership & Team Development – Lead cross-functional teams (engineers, contractors, subcontractors) and foster collaboration across cultures.
Contract & Claims Management – Expert in FIDIC or similar international contracts, change orders, and dispute resolution.
Schedule Management – Mastery of Primavera P6/MS Project to deliver on time.
Quality & HSE Compliance – Ensure world-class safety and quality standards on-site.
Stakeholder Communication – Interface with port authorities, government agencies, and client executives.
