**IT Product Owner**
**Digital Transformation Area**
The Digital Transformation Area has the aim of defining, accompanying and reinforcing the digital transformation at VHIR.
The Directorate is made up of the IT, Quality and Processes and Document Management Units. It is a transversal area
that defines and leads the strategy for integrating new digital technologies, adapting and updating their processes and
infrastructures in order to gain efficiency and accompany the growth of the Institution.
**JOB DESCRIPTION**
A fantastic job opportunity has arisen to join the Digital Transformation Area as a “IT Product Owner”. We are looking for
a highly motivated and experienced individual who is willing to start the challenge of working in one of the most important
and competitive Research Centres linked to the health sector in Spain/Europe. Reporting to the Head of IT, the successful
serve as the primary liaison between the stakeholders and the development team, ensuring that the team delivers
maximum value to the business.
**Education and qualifications**:
**Required**:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related field or relevant work experience.
- Fluent in Catalan, Spanish and English.
**Desired**:
- Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification is highly recommended.
**Experience and knowledge**:
**Required**:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role.

**Main responsibilities and duties**:
- Product vision: Develop and communicate a clear product vision that aligns with business goals and customer
needs.
- Product backlog management: Prioritise and maintain the product backlog, ensuring that it accurately reflects the
priorities of the stakeholders and the business needs.
- User story definition: Define detailed user stories and acceptance criteria in collaboration with stakeholders and
the development team.
- Release planning: Collaborate with the Scrum Master and development team to plan and execute product
releases, ensuring that they are delivered on a timely manner and within the budget.
- Stakeholder management: Act as primary point of contact for stakeholders, gathering feedback, managing
expectations, and ensuring alignment with the product vision.
- Risk management: Identify and mitigate risks related to the product delive
