BAT Iberia has an exciting opportunity for an HR Business Partner – Fixed-Term (1 year) in Madrid.
Role Overview
The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) acts as a strategic partner to the business, aligning HR strategies with organizational goals. The HRBP provides comprehensive HR support, including talent management, employee relations, and performance management. They work closely with managers and employees to ensure effective deployment of HR policies and activities in Spain.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop individuals and teams through leadership workshops and cultural programs.
* Coach and educate line managers and employees, providing HR guidance and expertise.
* Support line managers with external recruitment processes.
* Assist management in identifying productivity and efficiency opportunities.
* Develop strategies to prevent business disruptions or loss of key talent.
* Manage and improve HR administration processes in collaboration with the Regional HR Shared Services team.
* Review and update HR policies in line with business needs and labor law developments.
* Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and fire protection standards, including internal EHS procedures.
Qualifications
* University Degree in Business Administration, HR Management, or equivalent.
* Fluency in English and Spanish (spoken and written).
* 3-5 years of experience as an HR Business Partner, preferably in a similar environment.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Practical, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to prioritize in a dynamic setting.
* Ability to build trustful relationships internally and externally.
* Proactive, enthusiastic, and capable of meeting tight deadlines.
* Knowledge of payroll systems and SAP SuccessFactors is a plus.
* Understanding of local labor law.
