Agronomic Solutions Manager Main Purpose Drive the development of innovative crop protection solutions (chemical and biological) that address growers' needs across EMEA, with specific responsibility for the Mediterranean Cluster and all Crop Protection segments related to Arable Crops. The role ensures an efficient product development process and an optimized time-to-market, applying an enterprise mindset and maintaining a strong focus on business impact. It also involves generating robust technical knowledge for new products and customized solutions and ensuring effective knowledge transfer to all commercial functions through strong collaboration with Customer Facing Squads. Key Tasks & Responsibilities Scope of responsibility: Field Solutions Mediterranean Hub Organization Develop tailored, competitive crop protection solutions for EMEA and Mediterranean Cluster markets within the regional development framework, ensuring they meet customer and market needs across all Arable Crop segments. Maintain close proximity to local markets to anticipate customer needs and emerging crop protection trends. Define and implement development strategies for the assigned crop protection segment to ensure an optimized time-to-market, working closely with EMEA and Cluster teams from Field Solutions, Regulatory Science, Agronomy, and Marketing. Plan, evaluate, and ensure that all registration trials are documented according to GAP/label recommendations and in line with EPPO standards, internal SOPs, or specific national requirements. Actively contribute to several European development projects (outside the EU) as a committee or task-force member. Within the EU, support Zonal projects by acting as L-ASM and supporting the Product Technical Manager (PTM). Coordinate the ordering and distribution of samples for all agronomists involved in field trials, ensuring on-time delivery. Propose and build proof-of-concept trial programs, support pre-project activities, and ensure strong input of project ideas, market needs, and agronomic insights from Cluster markets into the regional Field Solutions organization. Manage trials to generate strong technical knowledge on new products and develop a robust technical core data package, in collaboration with the Agronomy team, to enable effective commercial positioning aligned with Customer and Support Squads in each country. Within the EU, support Bio-Dossier writers in preparing Biological Assessment Dossiers and related documentation, including responses to additional authority requests during evaluation. Coordinate with external trial cooperators (CROs), official institutes, and key technical opinion leaders, assuming full accountability for these relationships. Who You Are – Qualifications & Competencies University degree (or equivalent) in Agriculture, Horticulture, or Biological Sciences; advanced specialization (e.g., PhD) in plant pathology, weed science, or applied entomology is highly valuable. Excellent knowledge of crops and practical cropping systems, with solid hands-on experience in field trials and trial methodology. Strong experience in crop protection product development. Excellent analytical skills. Strong project management capabilities. Effective team player with the ability to work in cross-functional environments. Strong networking and communication skills. Flexible, reliable, and demonstrates clear ownership and empowerment. Proficient with common IT tools, including Microsoft Office and database systems. Fluent written and spoken English. Valid driving license (car).
