Asset management firm, part of a leading investment fund, is seeking a Portfolio Manager specialized in NPLs.
Key Responsibilities :
* Oversee and coordinate the strategic and operational management of NPL portfolios (secured and unsecured).
* Analyze portfolio performance, identifying risks, deviations, and potential value enhancement opportunities.
* Support acquisition processes by conducting due diligence, financial modeling, and drafting business plans.
* Collaborate with legal teams to define and implement judicial and out-of-court recovery strategies.
* Manage and monitor external servicers, ensuring adherence to KPIs, SLAs, and agreed strategies.
* Prepare and present regular performance reports for local leadership and global stakeholders, including recovery forecasts and cash flow projections.
* Identify and implement process improvements and strategic initiatives to optimize asset recovery.
* Stay informed about regulatory developments and market trends in the NPL and distressed asset space across Spain and Europe.
Requirements(M / F / D) :
* Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or related field.
* At least 5 years of experience in similar roles within servicers, investment funds, banks, or consulting firms focused on NPL management.
* Strong understanding of the NPL lifecycle, local regulations, and recovery strategies.
* Excellent analytical skills, strategic thinking, and a strong results-oriented mindset.
* Proven ability to coordinate external stakeholders and manage complex workflows.
* High level of proficiency in English (required).
