You will work on the management of a CDMO portfolio producing Pharmaceutical or Cosmetic products for worldwide markets. The MS&T Technical Manager pack acts as key interface between Galderma and the external suppliers to resolve technical challenges, oversee validation activities and evaluate technical changes. The position holder is the major contributor to all manufacturing related questions and topics. As MS&T technical manager pack, your key Responsibilities are:
Key Responsibilities
1. Packaging Development: You will be involved in the development of innovative and functional packaging solutions
2. Quality Assurance
3. Building and maintaining relationships with packaging suppliers is critical for a smooth supply chain. You'll work with suppliers to source packaging materials for secondary & tertiary packagings.
4. Project Management: Keeping packaging projects on track and within set timelines is essential. You'll be responsible for creating project plans, setting milestones, and coordinating the efforts of the packaging team and other stakeholders.
5. Risk Assessment and Troubleshooting: Identifying potential risks and challenges related to packaging and developing strategies to mitigate them is part of your responsibility. Additionally, you'll troubleshoot any packaging issues that may arise during production or distribution.
6. Technical interface to external suppliers on packaging activities
7. Product/technical stewardship: you'll implement quality control processes for packaging materials and finished products with the support from product development team.
8. Interface to Development for the product(s) assigned, responsible for secondary & tertiary packaging development
9. Manufacturing Excellence for defined product(s)
10. This will require to build an extended understanding of the manufacturing processes of our key CDMOs.
11. To promote cross-sites communication and nurtures a global mind-set among his/her network.
Skills & Qualifications
12. BS degree in Packaging or related engineering field.
13. Minimum 3 years of experience in medical device or pharmaceutical industries, gained especially in Production or CI.
14. Knowledge of GMP/GDP is strongly meriting.
15. Project management experience
16. Development experience (secondary & tertiary packaging)
17. Formal continuous improvement qualification (lean sigma green or black belt preferable)
18. Strongly business oriented, agile and ready to travel internationally, on a frequent basis
19. Fluent in both written and spoken French (Desirable)
