What you can expect:From day one, you will support your agile team and independently deliver Business Intelligence projects.
You will analyze existing data structures and develop optimization strategies to improve performance and efficiency. In addition, you will design data‐driven solutions and visualize insights through interactive Power BI dashboards.
You will work closely with Data Engineers and business stakeholders to continuously enhance data‐driven processes. With your expertise, you will contribute to strategic initiatives and help design and implement modern BI architectures in the Azure cloud.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable BI solutions and dashboards (primarily in Power BI)
Analyze and optimize existing data models and structures
Develop and implement performance optimization strategies
Transform and analyze large‐scale datasets using modern cloud technologies
Collaborate closely with Data Engineers and business departments
Support the development of KPI frameworks and operational metrics
Contribute to the design and implementation of Azure‐based BI architectures
Drive continuous improvement of data‐driven processes
What you bring:
5+ years of experience in a data analytics role, with a focus on cloud data platforms
Strong SQL skills (complex queries, joins, CTEs, performance optimization)
Hands‐on experience with BI tools (preferably Power BI)
Experience using PySpark for data transformation and analysis
Practical experience with Databricks and Azure cloud services
Experience working with large‐scale datasets
Strong understanding of KPI design and operational metrics
Strong analytical thinking and problem‐solving abilities
Ability to communicate insights clearly to both technical and non‐technical stakeholders
Fluent in German and English
Experience in logistics or transportation analytics would be a plus

Note: this position can be located in a European country where Rhenus Overland is already established (preferably in Germany). The set up would be hybrid or remote depending on the candidate's location.
