Aurora is an established supplier of skilled manpower to its clients, now seeking a Ground Segment L2 Maintenance Engineer.

Responsibilities include:
* Support AIV campaigns for the Galileo Ground Control Segment.
* Define and maintain test documentation.
* Support preparation and execution of Non-Regression / System Validation Tests.
* Assist OPS / L1 and L3 teams in problem management, system restoration, and handling security incidents.
* Contribute to Service Asset and Configuration Management, maintaining configurations via provided tools.
* Support milestone reviews related to L2 / L3 maintenance handovers.
* Design integrated maintenance and troubleshooting environments.
* Contribute to release strategies for GCS infrastructure evolutions.
* Provide on-call maintenance support, including cybersecurity patches and updates, especially outside normal hours.
Qualifications include:
* Engineering degree in a relevant field, with at least 5 years of experience.
* Experience in ground system AIV campaigns and operations.
* Familiarity with IT systems, web applications, and hardware.
* Knowledge of Galileo or navigation ground segments is a plus.
* Ability to follow procedures and find workarounds.
* Understanding of cybersecurity principles is desirable.
* Strong coordination skills across teams.
* Interest in continuous learning and new technologies.
* Willingness to travel for training and workshops.
* Proficiency in English; knowledge of Spanish is expected.
Legal and Security Requirements:
* Legal eligibility to work in Spain (EU/EEA/Switzerland).
* Provision of passport and degree certificates; degree validation by Aurora.
* Recent good conduct certificate required.
Location:
Madrid, Spain, at the DLR second location.
Contract details:
* Competitive remuneration.
* Registered for social security and taxes in Spain.
* 40 hours/week, with 12 public holidays and 30 days annual leave.
