Reporting to the Head of Commercial, the RSM will lead, coach, and develop a team of Key Account Managers (KAMs) to maximize product uptake, build long-term relationships with healthcare stakeholders, and execute local sales strategies in alignment with national priorities. /pp In this role, the RSM will demonstrate patient focus in every decision, act with an owner mindset, champion innovation, and foster collaboration to deliver impact and contribute to Madrigal’s purpose of leading the fight against MASH. /p pb Key Responsibilities /b /pulli Translate national and global commercial strategies into clear, actionable regional sales plans. /lili Deliver sales targets through effective territory planning, resource allocation, and execution excellence. /lili Recruit, train, and mentor Key Account Managers to build a high-performing team. /lili Conduct regular field visits, joint calls, and performance reviews to strengthen capabilities and customer engagement. /lili Foster a culture of accountability, integrity, and compliance. /lili Build strong partnerships with physicians, KOLs, treatment centers, and other stakeholders to drive product adoption. /lili Represent Madrigal at national congresses, symposia, and educational events. /lili Ensure field teams deliver consistent, high-quality, and compliant customer interactions. /lili Work closely with Market Access to align regional field activities with access priorities. /lili Partner with Medical Affairs to ensure coordinated and compliant scientific engagement. /lili Provide market insights and competitive intelligence to inform strategy and adapt tactics. /lili Monitor sales performance, activity metrics, and KPIs, adjusting plans as needed to exceed objectives. /lili Ensure optimal use of CRM and reporting tools for territory management and customer insights. /lili Manage regional budgets responsibly and in line with company objectives. /lili Act as a key member of the commercial leadership community, sharing best practices and supporting national initiatives. /lili Uphold Madrigal’s Code of Conduct and Ethics, as well as all local pharmaceutical regulations. /li /ul pb Profile /b /pulli Significant experience in pharmaceutical sales leadership, ideally in specialty care or hospital-based therapeutic areas. /lili Proven track record of managing first-line sales teams and driving successful product launches. /lili Strong understanding of the local healthcare environment, treatment pathways, and payer landscape. /lili Inspirational people leader with excellent coaching, communication, and influencing skills. /lili Strategic thinker who can translate vision into action while remaining detail-oriented on execution. /lili Commercially savvy, entrepreneurial, and results-driven with a strong sense of ownership. /lili Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a matrix environment. /li /ul pb Qualifications /b /pulli University degree in Life Sciences, Business, or related field (advanced degree preferred). /lili Minimum 7 years’ experience in pharmaceutical sales, including at least 2–3 years in a sales management role. /lili Strong knowledge of CRM systems, Key Account Planning, and business intelligence tools. /lili Fluent in Spanish and English. /lili Ability to travel frequently nationally /li /ul
