The Associate Channel Account Manager (aCAM) is a quota-carrying role responsible for driving business growth in DACH/Central Europe (CER). This role reports into the CER Inside Sales Manager, with a dotted line to the Regional Channel Director. In this role, you will be responsible for fostering new footprint opportunities, upselling, and cross-selling in accounts in the SMB and Mid- Market space.
In addition to strategic initiatives, the aCAM will also manage tactical transactions. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams such as CAD sellers, partner technical managers, Partner Sales Representatives (PSRs), and segment sellers to ensure smooth management of these transactions.
The aCAM will function as the hub of a channel "pod" model, facilitating collaboration among a cross-functional team (regional Channel Account Managers, Inside Sales, Marketing, segment sales, operations, and technical sales) to develop and execute region-specific strategies.
Responsibilities
* Work with Partners to create campaigns for pipeline generation.
* Conduct opportunity reviews to assess potential deals and develop action plans.
* Engage in direct sales activities, including prospecting, presenting, and closing deals.
Skills and Experience
* Excellent sales presentation and communication skills.
* Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
* Ability to understand and navigate complex product development and discrete manufacturing business operations.
* 2-3 years of relevant BDR/SDR experience
* 1-3 years of sales quota carrying experience in a B2B environment is desirable
* Familiarity with the dynamics of the product development and discrete manufacturing industry is desirable.
Basic Qualifications
* Fluent level of English and German is mandatory
* Proven track record in software sales
