Therapy Development Manager/Regional Sales Manager
Spain & Portugal (Iberia – National remit)
This is a highly visible role with national responsibility, combining sales execution, therapy development, clinical education, and market access activity to establish the therapy as a standard of care.
This position is ideally suited to a commercially strong MedTech professional with experience in implantable or high-tech medical devices who is comfortable operating autonomously in a market-building role.
In this role, you will be responsible for the overall commercial success of the therapy across Spain and Portugal. Acting as the local market lead, you will drive sales performance while building therapy awareness, supporting physician training, and working closely with hospitals and stakeholders to enable access and adoption.
Sales & Commercial Leadership
Develop and execute the Iberian commercial strategy aligned with regional objectives.
Drive sales performance through territory planning, account targeting, funnel development, forecasting, and closing activity.
Develop and implement market development plans tailored to the Spanish and Portuguese healthcare systems.
Clinical Education & Training
Support physician training programs, workshops, and peer-to-peer education initiatives.
Work closely with Clinical Specialists to ensure high-quality therapy delivery and patient outcomes.
Market Access & Reimbursement
Support reimbursement and market access initiatives across Spain and Portugal in collaboration with internal teams.
Develop and manage business plans, budgets, and performance metrics.
Accurately forecast sales and pipeline activity.
Ensure compliance with all quality, regulatory, and company standards.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
Proven commercial experience within MedTech, ideally in implantable devices, neurostimulation, ENT, cardiology, or adjacent therapy areas.
Strong understanding of the Spanish and/or Portuguese healthcare systems and hospital decision-making processes.
Ability to balance sales execution with clinical education and therapy development.
Fluent Spanish with strong English proficiency.
