Your responsibilities as Head of Taxonomy will include:
1. Lead the taxonomy team, currently a team of approximately 10 people, mostly based in Argentina.
2. Implement continuous improvement systems and find out-of-the-box solutions for complex technical problems.
3. Keep abreast of new releases and product functionality to ensure successful implementation for clients (sources for innovation).
4. Set up procedures and working standards to ensure all projects are delivered on time.
5. Coordinate multiple, simultaneous projects, ensuring project expectations and timelines are met, and issues are addressed.
Your profile should include the following:
* More than 2 years of experience in team management.
* Degree in Mathematics, Science, or Technology.
* Strong logical and analytical thinking; you love challenges and finding out-of-the-box solutions.
* Comfortable challenging the current state of things and leading process improvements and innovation.
* Strong project, time, and organizational management skills.
* Excellent communication skills in both Spanish and English, spoken and written. Other languages are a plus.
* Experience coordinating cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail.
* Quick thinker, pragmatic, adaptable, innovative problem solver, and self-motivated.
* Proficiency with Excel and familiarity with SQL; interest in technology.
* Availability to travel 2 weeks/3 times per year.
