At Cognizant, we promote an inclusive culture where we value different perspectives.We are currently looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team!What do we value?We are seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst that has strong analysis capabilities to monitor every phase of the software development process to ensure high design quality.Key Responsibilities:- Identify different and negative test scenarios, detect risks and report them in a timely manner.- Review User Interfaces for Consistency and Functionality.- Test cases and test plan creation.- Write and execute test scripts.- Report and keep tracking of issues.- Identify potential problems users may encounter.- Test in different environments including web and mobile.- Run manual and automated tests.- Fluent communication with the different teams and stakeholders.- Work towards departmental and project deadlines.- Provide objective feedback to software development project teams.Necessary skills and experience required:- Graduated in Software engineering, Electrical engineering, mathematics, technician, technologist or related Education Certificate.- +1 years of previous experience in a Quality Assurance / Testing role.- Knowledge and/or experience in ServiceNow platform.- Test Plans and Test Cases creation experience (standard & best practices).- Test experience in different environments including web and mobile.- Experience working in an Agile environment.- Requirements gathering and management experience.- Ability to communicate to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with strong presentation and facilitation skills.- Identify different test scenarios in a requirement.- Identify negative test scenarios.- ISTQB Foundations – desired.- ITIL Foundations Certified – desired.Why Cognizant?- A career in one of the largest and fastest growing IT services providers worldwide.- Ongoing support and funding with training and development plans.- Opportunity to work for leading global companies.- Our work environment is diverse, collaborative and inclusive.
