About the job :

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our new regional sales team. You will be part of our Sales function, responsible for promoting the sale and rental of our innovative Boxbar Technology.

Your Role :

You will be tasked with signing new deals, growing, and maintaining our client base. Your focus will be on expanding sales in target markets such as festivals, events, sports, venues, and hospitality through strategic partnerships. You will aim to meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets and manage a portfolio of both existing and new clients.

This role reports directly to the Director of Business Development. Your goal is to develop new and existing partnerships, increasing sales and profitability year over year.

Key Responsibilities :

* Meet or exceed monthly and yearly revenue targets, with KPIs primarily based on sales achievement.
* Drive new business growth within key markets and industry sectors.
* Arrange and attend meetings with senior prospects, deliver C-Level presentations, and draft proposals and contracts.
* Participate in industry events, networking functions, and relevant conferences.
* Create detailed proposal presentations demonstrating positive ROI for clients.
* Develop innovative partnership ideas and tailored solutions.
* Negotiate deals and close sales contracts promptly.
* Coordinate with internal teams including operations, marketing, tech, and finance.
* Support supplier relationships, invoicing, sales reporting, and monitor sales overheads and costs.
* Manage and update leads in our CRM system, ensuring regular follow-up.
* Maintain knowledge of the self-serve ecosystem concerning products and service providers.
* Provide on-site operational support occasionally, liaising directly with clients and suppliers.

Requirements :

* Experience in Sales or Business Development within the live music, festivals, events, travel, leisure, hospitality, sports, or tourism industries.
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in sales, partnerships, or commercial development.
* Strong numeracy and communication skills, confident in telephone and face-to-face meetings.
* Comprehensive understanding of the full sales cycle, including lead generation, negotiation, and closing.
* Ability to manage projects, focus on objectives, prioritize tasks, and follow up effectively.
* Ability to work autonomously and take responsibility beyond the scope of the role.
* Proactive in seeking new solutions and developing innovative ideas for ongoing commercial growth.
* Awareness of decision implications and capacity to handle high-pressure environments.
