We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Production Manager to lead manufacturing operations at our plant in Granada. This role carries full responsibility for production performance, safety, operational efficiency, quality standards, and compliance within a highly regulated industrial environment.
The successful candidate will play a key role in modernizing production processes, developing teams, improving productivity, and ensuring world-class manufacturing standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Production Leadership & Operational Performance
* Lead and optimize end-to-end production operations, including manpower planning, capacities, scheduling, and efficiency.
* Ensure achievement of all production KPIs and targets related to:
* Safety
* Output / turnover
* Quality
* Delivery deadlines
* Cost efficiency
* Drive operational excellence across all manufacturing areas.
Compliance & Governance
* Ensure full compliance with all applicable legislation, internal regulations, industry norms, and certifications.
* Maintain production readiness for internal and external audits.
* Guarantee clear production traceability and documentation standards.
* Ensure adherence to ESG principles and sustainability requirements.
* Protect sensitive and confidential operational information.
Continuous Improvement & Modernization
* Lead CAPEX projects, modernization programs, and production upgrades.
* Implement continuous improvement methodologies such as:
* Lean Manufacturing
* Kaizen
* Value Stream Mapping (VSM)
* Productivity optimization tools
* Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
Cross-Functional Cooperation
* Work closely with Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, Technical and R&D teams.
* Support new product introductions and industrialization projects.
* Align production plans with business priorities and customer commitments.
People Leadership
* Lead, motivate, and develop production teams and frontline managers.
* Build a culture of accountability, discipline, safety, and performance.
* Support succession planning and capability development.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
* Proven experience in a Production Manager / Plant Operations / Manufacturing Leadership role.
* Strong background in industrial manufacturing environments.
* Experience with safety-critical or highly regulated production is a strong advantage.
* Strong knowledge of Lean / Continuous Improvement methodologies.
* Experience leading larger teams in a unionized or blue-collar environment is an advantage.
* Strong leadership presence and decision-making ability.
* Fluent Spanish and good English required.
